The Manahan Group (TMG), an advertising and public relations firm, recently began working with both the West Virginia Housing Development Fund and The Problem Gamblers Help Network of West Virginia.

In August, the West Virginia Housing Development Fund awarded a three-year contract to TMG based on a proposal submitted in July.

“The West Virginia Housing Development Fund helps state residents live the American Dream by making it easier to own a home,” said TMG CEO George Manahan. “We look forward to helping the Fund refine their message and reach out to other target audiences, such as realtors and contractors.”

TMG will assist the Housing Development Fund promote its new Mountaineer Mortgage Plus…Renovation Program along with other Housing Development projects by providing pamphlets, banners, billboards, and television and radio spots.

In September, TMG also added Problem Gamblers Help Network of West Virginia to its client list.

“Our company has a wealth of experience working on social marketing campaigns. Gambling addiction can have as much of a devastating impact on families as other addictions,” said Manahan. “We are anxious to help the Problem Gamblers Help Network communicate its message to the many people in the state who need its services.”

TMG will provide media purchasing assistance to the Problem Gamblers Help Network to promote its helpline number 1-800-GAMBLER, while also providing various creative services to support the program.
